Anonymity is Bad?
I understand how anonymity can be bad at times, when it is used for cyber-bullying, or even trolling, but there are some good aspects to being anonymous. Many people wish to be anonymous so that they could get more information on what could be embarrassing to them. Something that they wouldn't want other people to know about them. We also shouldn't be punished for what we search up, especially if it is out of curiosity. Anonymity can prevent us from being judged or seen as not okay by our future employers or family members. Our names shouldn't be linked to something we have said before or searched up, especially if we now know it was wrong. In my eyes, anonymity is better.

Hey Alyssa, I agree with you in the sense that anonymity can be very beneficial, but I also feel like sometimes it is abused and people find a way to use it in a bad way. I appreciate anonymity because as you said, it prevents us from being judged and send our message without needing a face with that particular message. Yet, anonymity can easily be bad as well because people feel they have the opportunity to take advantage of it and say rude, hurtful, or negative comments because they are no longer recognized or known. It's like living in an unknown world- full of secrets, and mystical, magical creatures, also known as Trolls.
