Should you respond to anonymous comments under your pictures?

Multiple times I have posted something online and it will get some likes or whatever, days would go by to weeks and suddenly there's some no life that has a default profile picture commenting something pointless like out of all people you decide to comment under my picture like go somewhere.  Most of the time I'll brush it off and just delete the comment but sometime some of them are actually rude of course it doesn't hurt me feelings because obviously they won't say it to my face.  So yeah... but my question to you is would you choose to respond or let it go?
