Parents Vs. Technology
Now, I know I am not the only one who constantly deals with, "you're always on that phone," especially from parents, but can they blame us? It's become a part of the world, somehow a necessity to us to use in order to communicate to one another. My parents are usually always on my back about being on my phone or on my laptop, but can I help it? I understand they lived in a different generation, thus why they always use this line, "I didn't have a phone during my times and look at me, I lived." Yes, we understand that but different times call for different measures. The world is evolving before our eyes and now basically everything that we do revolves around technology, so can we reduce the time we use on technology? If so, how? Also, are your parents similar to mine in the sense that they somehow feel jealous with the time we spend on technology? What do you guys think?

I get that too from my family! I feel like if we do cut out most of the time we spend on technology we would kind of be behind. Most of the information about real current events happen on technology, at least that's how it is for me. It's just how the times are changing and we're living in a world where we're connected to so many people so simply and I think we should embrace that.
ReplyDeleteI find it funny parents say that kids are on their technology to much but they are the one's that paid for them for us to use. And if weren't use to our technology, who would our parents ask how to do it?
