Foods and stuffs

A majority of the foods we ate today are made by companies in factories. Though home cooked meals are still present the some of the ingredients we use come in cans and prepackaged boxes. Farmers markets have made a comeback in the recent years here in southern California which goes to show the movement toward fresh unprocessed ingredients. Still however, not many can afford to go farmers market every week and those that do often buy food good enough for a meal or two, nothing that would last a week. People rarely grow their food anymore and what much of  what we eat are handled by a an uncaring third party. Would it at all be possible to reconcile the food industry's practices of cutting corners in their product making and the need for freshly cultivated foods.

  1. I agree with you on the fact that farmers markets have made a comeback here on the west coast and how expensive they can be still. Although it is expensive, you are paying for quality food that has been handled by the farmers that has been grown and nurtured. Is that the sacrifice we have to make to have quality food, is too pay at higher price? I don't know.
