Politics of Food: Teach every child about food

https://www.ted.com/talks/jamie_oliver

The idea of this reputable source is about obesity being prevented by controlling what children eat in their early age. Jamie Oliver explains in the beginning of the video that America is the most unhealthiest country in the world. He continues to say that this generation of kids is going to only live ten years younger than their parents. Oliver brings out a graph showing the percentage of causes of deaths and the top three are diet related diseases. Later on in the video he gives examples of families that are dealing with obesity. One of the examples he brings up is a Stacey and her family. Her and her children all are obese. The son  named Justin is only 12 years old and is 350 pounds and gets bullied at school. Her daughter named Katy is only 4 years old and is obese before she went to prime school. Oliver then relates today society to a triangle. The three points are named main street, home, and school. He begins with a statement for streets, that big companies rule the streets and what we eat at home. For home he says that our homes used to be the place where we pass down traditional cookings to their children. Then he explains about how school lunches are the main cause for young people to have obesity. This would be helpful for people who are trying to figure out how can we avoid obesity. Another thing is
how food might effect students in school, since he has a good argument and explanation about the effects of school lunches.
