How has this research make me think differently?
My mindset about our country hasn't changed much. I always knew that there was weird and messed up stuff going on behind the scenes. I've also heard of conspiracy theories explaining that our country is trying to make us ill to get more money out of us. The more we are ill, the more we will go to hospitals. I don't think I would change my eating habits by that much, mind you my eating habits were better back then than they are now. I know this research will probably not stray me away from the foods I enjoy eating, but it already does make me think twice about eating them. If I could do something about it, I would say tax the unhealthy food more, and make healthy food more available and affordable. It seems like the easier solution. I feel that most people want to eat healthier, but simply don't want to pay the extra bucks for a salad. Another possibility would be to treat our animals with respect, and let them eat grass instead of corn. I'm sure the meat would be much better quality. Basically, don't feed them anything that they wouldn't eat in the wild.

I agree that most people want to eat healthy but don't want to pay extra for the healthy foods. It's sad because we can't do much about it because most of us can't afford all the healthy foods.
